Well, our group first wanted to find some interesting subjects in Salinas Valley. But although subjects abounded, wind was scarce to non-existant ... So we had a roadside picnic and then headed back to Pacific Grove and Monterey where the group split up. Henry and me wanted to KAP at Asilomar, but the fog was all over it and any pictures would have been uniformly grey. We met our german friends, Beutnagel, Bieck and Monsees. Ralf Beutnagel was flying a kite, or so we assumed, because his kite line just disappeared two meters above his head. On we went, to Lovers Point, shortly followed by the german team. There, we finally got to do some KAP.
